The Vallarta Botanical Gardens

The goal of the Botanical Gardens is to create foremost botanical garden in Mexico for the propagation, study, discovery, conservation, and display of Mexican native plants for both residents and visitors to Puerto Vallarta to enjoy.  The Gardens have lovely winding trails through botanical collections and a huge assortment of orchids, as the largest numbers of native orchids on earth are found in state of Jalisco.

The Vallarta Botanical Gardens hosts a wide array of events throughout the year including specialty days for singles, activities for seniors and the upcoming popular Summer Camp program. And after a day of exploring the beauty of the gardens, guests can take a cool, refreshing dip in the Crystal Pools or stop for refreshments at the on-site restaurant.

Because of the exquisite natural beauty found at the Vallarta Botanical Gardens, it is a very popular wedding venue where couples can exchange vows in the Orchid Conservatory while enjoying the gorgeous garden surroundings.

The beautiful garden facilities are maintained by charitable donations, sponsorships and volunteer hours and are located at the Km. 24 marker of Highway 200, about 30 minutes south of downtown Puerto Vallarta.
