Special Events during the Tourism Tianguis 2012

The Regatta Copa Mexico, Olympic Edition, will be held from March 2 to 18, with the La Cruz Yacht Club Marina in Riviera Nayarit functioning as the official venue for the event with race headquarters, social events and awards ceremonies.  This exciting bi-annual, international event is presented by the Mexican Government, the State Government of Nayarit and the Mexican Sailing Association.

The 8^th annual Vallarta Restaurant Week will have a special Tianguis edition to be held March 20 to 30, with various restaurants in BanderasBay participating.  This is a wonderful opportunity to sample 3 course menus in offered by some of the finest kitchens in the area at discounts of up to 50% from regular prices.

Two exclusive gold tournaments will be held on March 24^th at the Punta Mita Golf Club and the El Tigre Golf Club in Nuevo Vallarta.  Organized specifically for the Tourism Tianguis 2012, the Punta Mita tournament will have only 72 participants and the El Tigre tournament will host 92 players, with teams of 4 each in tournament.

La Patrona Polo Club in lovely San Pancho will present the Polo Cup Tianguis Edition on Saturday, March 24^th and Sunday, March 25^th.  La Patrona offers spectators a fine dining experience while enjoying close proximity to this fast paced, sport of kings.
