Decking the Halls in Banderas Bay
It’s easy to deck the halls and decorate your home to celebrate the season in Banderas Bay.
Many of the large grocery stores in Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta sell beautiful cut pine and fir Christmas trees, but for those who prefer a live tree, a great program is now being offered in Puerto Vallarta. Vive Pino runs a live “tree adoption” program, where you can rent live Christmas trees grown on a tree farm. After the holidays, you return the tree to Vive Pino and they replant it as part of a reforestation program. It’s a great way of including environmental responsibility into your Christmas celebration.
Costco and Liverpool in Puerto Vallarta both offer a large selection of artificial trees and a nice selection of ornaments. The upcoming Christmas Market at La Luna Restaurant in Puerto Vallarta on December 15th and 16th will feature vendors selling all sorts of hand crafted and unique decorations to help bring a touch of Mexican flavor to your holiday decorating.
