Getting Social in Banderas Bay

For many, meeting people in a new city can be daunting, but there are two excellent social clubs, the Puerto Vallarta Young Professionals Organization (YPO) and Expats in Vallarta, that make creating a new social circle in Banderas Bay fun and easy.

The Puerto Vallarta Young Professionals Organization was founded in early 2011 by Lindsay Prime Mayer, an American expat living in Puerto Vallarta who realized the need for a forum for professional people to make social and business connections in the area.  Hosting a monthly mixer and operating a lively Facebook page, the YPO is an amazing way to meet new people, promote your business or find job opportunities and find answers to questions ranging from where to find gluten-free bread to how to find a great carpenter and everything in the middle.

Expats in Vallarta, founded and hosted by Sara and Tish, is a favorite group of snowbirds and retirees living in Banderas Bay.  They host popular monthly Happy Hours and smaller cocktail parties in member’s private homes.  They also often have guest speakers that educate their members on issues such as investment opportunities, health care in Mexico, immigration issues and more.

Contact your Luxury Beach Concierge for more details about these groups and their monthly meetings or visit their websites for more information:
