As we follow these magnificent mammals across Banderas Bay, the professional guides' knowledge and insight will give you a deeper understanding and appreciation for the wildlife that you'll encounter on this unforgettable whale watching experience.

There is no such thing as a "typical day" on this adventure tour, because often it is the "wild ones" (the whales and dolphins) who are in charge of the daily itinerary. We can't always predict where they are, so we will let them guide us along their preferred route of the day.

This program is designed to be highly educational, completely interactive but most of all, fun for kids. After a poolside introduction by our resident dolphin experts, your kids will enter the shallow shelf of our pool while  under close supervision.

The dolphins will spend time getting to know their new little human friends, while your kids do the same. Kids can pet and hug the dolphins, experiencing for themselves the unique bond that can exist between humans and these magnificent marine mammals.

Developed for people who want to learn more about training marine mammals, the Trainer for a Day program gives you the chance to spend an exciting day working beside the dolphin trainers at the dolphin center.

From feeding and behavioral training techniques to helping our dolphin trainers during the Dolphin Encounter and Swim with Dolphin programs, you'll learn the basic skills of caring for and training dolphins as you assist our trainers in every aspect of their work.

By actively participating in the daily efforts that are involved in the training and care of our dolphins, you'll get a closer look at the fascinating world of marine professionals. Dolphin Assisted Therapy (DAT) programs are tailored to the individual needs of the participant with session goals set by the staff at the beginning of the journey. The program consists of in-water interactions between the patient and the dolphin, assisted by our experienced Dolphin Therapy team.

DAT programs help participants learn to feel more positively about themselves in an environment that promotes fun, play and learning, providing them with the opportunity to bridge that experience back into their personal lives. The overall experience causes a relative improvement in the child's awareness, mental state and in the way they relate to the environment around them, which can be noticed session after session.

Entering into the dolphin's world provides a relaxing environment which helps participants to gain the most from the interactions and importantly provides children with a fun-filled time away from the stress of medical, physical, or emotional concerns.
