Patzcuarito has a population of fifteen people. Its lovely beach makes for an excellent day-trip. Don’t expect any modern amenities in the surrounding area. If heading out for a day trip, take everything you will need, shopping is limited. Cell phone coverage is questionable which is part of what gives Patzcuarito its charm.
